St John’s upper 6th football team were in action this afternoon against Rougemount in very challenging conditions. The visitors got off to a good start and took an early lead, St John’s stated to come back into the game and nearly equalised but Rougemount were able to capitalise and produced a clinical finish to double their lead. St John’s managed to pull a goal back just before the break. The second half was eventful and Rougemount managed to regain grit two goal advantage. St John’s responded well and scored twice to make things all square at 3-3. Rougemount then scored again and looked like they were going to clinch but St John’s managed to score a last minute equaliser. Final score St John’s 4 Rougemount 4.
